Orange- Think Time (away from the activity) Red- Email or Call Home/Possible Office Referral Star Stick- You went above and beyond today! Great job! ***Please see the inside of the front cover of your child's agenda for a list of behavior codes. I will use the codes to let you know what your child is working on improving. Agenda/Communication Your child will write weekly spelling words and a daily message in their agenda. It is important to check and sign the agenda daily. The agenda can be used to communicate small notes, but it is best to notify me by email ([email protected]). Please do not send transportation notes in the agenda. Take Home Folder Along with the agenda, your child will have a red Take Home Folder that will come home and needs to be brought back to school everyday. Important notes, lunch money, papers done in class, and forms not sent in the Friday Folders will be sent home in the red folders. Every Monday, homework will be sent in the red folder and will need to be completed and returned in the folder on Friday. Friday Folders Friday folders will go home every Friday. Graded papers will go home every other week. Please check and sign the folder each week and return all graded papers. Homework A homework sheet will be sent home every Monday. Read the homework for the appropriate night. After your child completes the day’s homework, sign to verify that the homework was completed. Return all homework back to your child’s teacher on Friday. Remember that homework is primarily given to practice skills and instill responsibility in your 1st grader. Please use discretion while working on the homework with your child. We want your child to be challenged but at the same time feel successful. Have your child work at their ability. Lunch Money and Snacks Please send one nutritional snack for your child each day. Your child should be able to open their snack independently. Please send lunch money in a sealed envelope with your child's name and my name. Grading S (Satisfactory) = 80-100 N (Needs Improvement) = 79-70 U (Unsatisfactory) = Below 70 Parent Volunteers If you are interested in volunteering at Creek View, you must complete the Fulton County volunteer training.
